Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness Review

Before discovering the Ruffwear Front Range Harness, I had experimented with various other harnesses, but they didn't quite meet my expectations. The nylon harnesses I tried proved cumbersome and challenging to untangle, making putting them on my dogs a frustrating experience. Moreover, the safety or mesh dog harness I used was unflattering on Rachel and Indy, which was disappointing.

Rachel and Indy always sport their Ruffwear Front Range harnesses whenever they venture outside their home. These harnesses not only provide comfort but also help alleviate back pain. Additionally, they significantly reduce the chances of causing injury by avoiding any pressure on their throats that may occur from pulling. Using the harnesses makes me feel more in control of my dogs, and I prefer the security they offer over a collar.

What is Ruffwear Front Dog Harness?

The updated Front Range Harness is a padded everyday harness, easy to put on and comfortable for dogs. It features two leash attachment points: an aluminum V-ring on the back for walks and reinforced chest webbing for dogs that pull. With four points of adjustment, reflective trim, an ID pocket, and a light loop for a safety light, it's both practical and stylish, available in coordinating colors with the Front Range Collar and Leash.

About the Two Leash Attachment Points: Why is it Important For Your Dog?

The Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness is designed with versatility, offering two leash attachment points that cater to various needs. The first attachment point is at the front chest area, perfect for training and discouraging pulling during walks. The second attachment point is positioned at the back, ideal for everyday walks and activities. This dual attachment design provides greater control and flexibility, allowing you to adapt based on your dog's needs and training requirements.

When walking Indy, I take advantage of both leash attachments on the Front Range Harness. Given Indy's reactivity and excitement around other dogs, the front attachment on the chest area proves to be invaluable for training and maintaining better control, effectively guiding her in the desired direction. For our regular daily walks, I opt to use the back attachment on the harness, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. This combination of leash attachments allows for a versatile and effective walking routine with Indy, ensuring her safety and enjoyment during our outings.
